The rules for using this site and what to expect when you hire us.
These terms apply to this website, operated by JW Grading & Tree Service of Clemmons, NC. By using the site or sending us a request, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using this site
You may use this site to learn about our work and to contact us about a job. Do not use it to send spam, break the law, attempt to interfere with the site, or misrepresent who you are. We can refuse service or block access if the site is being misused.
Estimates and quotes
Estimates are free and given on site. Anything on this site, including the instant estimate tool, is a rough guide only. It is not a quote, not an offer, and not a price we are bound to. Real pricing depends on the size of the tree, how it leans, what it hangs over, access for equipment, and the condition of the ground. You get a straight price in writing before work starts.
A quote we give you is good for the job as described at the time we looked at it. If the scope changes, or we find something that was not visible during the walkthrough, we will talk to you about the price before doing the extra work.
Scheduling and weather
We schedule a day and we intend to be there on that day. Weather, ground conditions, and emergency storm calls can move a job. If your date moves, you hear from us first.
Service area
We work roughly 30 miles out from Clemmons, NC. The ZIP checker and the towns listed on this site are a guide, not a hard boundary. If you are near the line, call and we will tell you either way.
Your property and access
By hiring us, you confirm that you own the property or have permission from the owner to have the work done, and that you have the authority to approve it. You are responsible for telling us about anything buried, hidden, or fragile on the site, such as septic systems, irrigation, wiring, lines, and property lines. We need reasonable access to the work area for trucks and equipment.
Heavy equipment on soft ground can leave marks. We work to avoid it and we will tell you when a site has that risk, but normal ground impact from doing the job is not damage.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in the estimate for your job. Payment is due as agreed once the work is complete unless we have arranged otherwise in writing. This site does not take payments.
Insurance
JW Grading & Tree Service is insured, with coverage on every job. Proof of insurance is available on request.
Content on this site
The text, photos, and design on this site belong to JW Grading & Tree Service or are used with permission. Do not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Photos show our own work. Results on any given property will vary with the site and the job.
We work to keep the information here accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that every detail is free of error or always up to date. The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, JW Grading & Tree Service is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising out of your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for the work we actually perform for you, which is governed by the estimate and agreement for your job.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
