You talk to Jacob, not a call center
JW Grading & Tree Service is run by Jacob Williard out of Clemmons, NC. Call the number and you reach Jacob. On the day of the work, he is the one on site. The person who prices your job is the same one who does it and stands behind it.
Jacob handles both halves of a property job. On the tree side, that is grapple saw removals, forestry mulching, and stump grinding. On the dirt side, grading and land clearing. A lot of folks end up hiring one company for the trees and another for the ground work. Here, one crew and one set of equipment takes the job from standing trees to finished dirt.
- Insured, with coverage on every job
- Grapple saw equipped for heavy and hazardous removals
- Based in Clemmons, working about 30 miles out
How we work on every tree job
01
Show up when we said
The most common complaint about contractors is silence. We schedule a day and we are there on that day, and if weather moves it, you hear from us first.
02
Do it right the first time
A removal that tears up the yard or a grade that pools water means the job is not finished. We take the time to get it right, so the work holds up and looks right when we leave.
03
Leave the site clean and tidy
Wood hauled off, brush cleared, ruts smoothed out. When we pull off your property, it should look cared for, not torn up.

Jake came and added 2 drainage ditches and extended another. He fixed a huge rut in our left drive, graded our lot for our camper shed, and brought in gravel. He also drug our driveway and brought up the old gravel, saving us a tremendous amount on our gravel cost. He told us what he would do and he did it in a timely manner and for a really good price.
We were very pleased with Jake’s service. He gave us a reasonable estimate the morning after we contacted him, worked with us on scheduling, came on time the day of the job, and even did some extra work beyond what was agreed. Excellent customer service and company. Would definitely hire him again.
