Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
JW Grading & Tree Service is run by Jacob Williard out of Clemmons, NC. This policy covers the information collected through this website and when you contact us about a job. We keep this short and plain, because there is not much to it.
Information you give us
When you fill out the quote form or call us, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, and a description of the work you need. You choose what to send. We only ask for what we need to price the job and get to the property.
If you use the service area checker, the ZIP code you type is only used to tell you whether you are inside our area. It is not stored on its own.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. That tool records things like your general location, the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and the site or search that sent you here. It sets cookies in your browser to do this. We use it to understand what is working on the site. We do not use it to identify you personally.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses fonts served by Google Fonts. Those services receive your IP address as a normal part of delivering the page to you.
How we use your information
- To reply to your request and give you an estimate
- To schedule and complete the work at your property
- To send a confirmation that we received your request
- To follow up about a job we quoted or performed
- To keep normal business records and improve the site
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone building a marketing list.
Who we share it with
Your form submission is passed through the services that run this site so it reaches us: the hosting provider, an automation service that filters spam and routes the message, and our email provider. Those providers handle the information only to deliver it to us. We also use a marketing company that manages this website on our behalf and can see the leads that come in.
Beyond that, we share information only when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect our rights, our property, or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and job records for as long as we need them for the work, for our business records, and for anything the law requires us to hold onto. If you want your information deleted, ask us and we will take care of it, except for anything we are required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (336) 682-5948 or email Jwilliard@hotmail.com and we will handle it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on Google provides. The site still works either way.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Children
This site is meant for adults hiring a contractor. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Other sites
Links on this site may take you somewhere we do not control, such as Google. Once you leave this site, their privacy policy applies, not ours.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
